Minute rows

One row means one minute

A five-minute timer starts with five rows. A three-minute timer starts with three. Each row contains six markers, and one marker changes every ten seconds.

This lets a child count the remaining minutes without needing to understand a clock. The countdown number remains visible for adults and children who already use minutes and seconds.
